Spring Farm man Peter Gordon Reid, 48, accused of three counts of impersonating a police officer, has had his case adjourned at Picton Local Court this morning.

The father of three is alleged to have introduced himself as a police officer on three occasions between May 1 and 2 in Spring Farm and Mt Annan.

On the first occasion, between 7.30pm and 8pm on May 1, police say he introduced himself as a police officer to a group of boys outside a fast food outlet on Waterworth Dr, Mt Annan.

It’s further alleged he assaulted one of the men.

Later that night, he visited a home on Corder Dr, Spring Farm and allegedly introduced himself to the resident as a police officer and claimed he had to search their vehicle.

Police allege on the third occasion of impersonating a police officer, Reid stole a Go Pro camera and driver’s licence from a teenager in Spring Farm.

Reid is facing up to six years in jail, if found guilty, of the offences.

The matter was adjourned to June 11 at Picton Local Court as his solicitor was unavailable today.

His bail conditions include reporting to Narellan police station three times a week and a curfew between the hours of 7pm and 4.30am.
