A southwest Sydney suburb is one step closer to be able to walk through the doors of a “super pub”.
The construction on the $40 million three storey project is progressing at the intersection of Dick Johnson Drive and Central Ave despite the recent rains which has plagued many construction sites.
Crews have started work on the basement car park which is currently being excavated.
The hotel, described by some as a “super pub”, will be built around a unique interior garden feature and will include a rooftop cocktail bar, gold glass cinema and a high-end steakhouse.
There will be two cinemas, each with a 40-person capacity, and a number of function and training rooms on the first floor.
The ground floor will be home to a woodfire pizzeria, a bistro, a cafe, a sports bar and a function centre.
Marcello Colosimo, CEO of Momento Hospitality Group, said he was working hard to bring a fantastic food and beverage experience to one of the fastest growing suburbs in NSW.
“It will provide a chance to create memories in all facets of life, whether it be birthday’s through to sporting events, or even just having a casual meal and drink,” he said.
The construction is expected to take 18 months to complete. No opening date has been released yet.
The multimillion-dollar project was approved by the Sydney Western City Planning Panel in August 2020.
