A MILLION-DOLLAR park has been delivered for Spring Farm, with families today celebrating the opening of their own contemporary playground.

Located on Bandara Circuit, the park features equipment for all ages including trampolines, slides, swings, a dish and plate spinner, rock hold grips and handrope climbs.

Camden Mayor Peter Sidgreaves praised the way the park is integrated with the surrounding remnant woodland.

“This park is a fantastic asset to the community and integrates the natural environment to

make it a lovely place for families to enjoy,” he said.

“The mixture of large and small equipment, natural play zones and shaded areas will

appeal to children across a diversity of abilities and interests.”

“Extensive path networks feed through the park that makes it easily accessible for parents

and children.”

Established trees provide natural shade around the 6ha site, as well as man-made shade structures providing a cover play area. Seating has also been installed around the park.
