David Anderson charged after police raid Orangeville home, seize 7.5kg drugs, cash and taser

A 7.5kg stash of drugs, including magic mushrooms and cannabis, along with more than $115,000 cash and a taser have been seized from a home near Camden, in Sydney’s southwest.
About 11.40am on Monday, officers from the State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups Squad attended a home on The Grand Cct, Orangeville to execute a firearms prohibition order search.
During a subsequent crime scene warrant search, officers allegedly located and seized about 3.6kg of cocaine, 1.47kg cannabis, 960g of methylamphetamine, 436g of magic mushrooms, 448g of MDMA, and steroids.
They also allegedly found more than $115,000 cash, a taser, a ballistic vest, drug paraphernalia, mobile phones, and two luxury watches.
David Anderson, 41, was arrested at the home and taken to Narellan police station.
He was charged with 16 offences, including supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, possessing or using a prohibited weapon without permit, knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime, supplying an indictable quantity cannabis, and failing to comply with a digital evidence access order direction.
He was refused bail to appear at Moss Vale Local Court on Tuesday. He did not apply for bail and his matter will be next heard at Campbelltown Local Court on May 17.
