A man who allegedly supplied minors with alcohol and sexually assaulted two young girls has fronted court.

Drew Singleton appeared at Moss Vale Local Court on Monday, where it was confirmed nine charges had been certified, and negotiations would start between legal parties. No official pleas have been entered.

Mr Singleton had initially faced 20 charges, but a representative for the Director of Public Prosecutions confirmed on Monday 11 had been withdrawn.

Court documents reveal he still faces two charges of possessing child abuse material, including 29 abuse videos and nine images of a child aged 14 to 15.

He also is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old at Moss Vale on December 21.

He is further charged over allegations he had sexual intercourse with another 14-year-old three times at Moss Vale between August 2021 and January 2022.

Court documents state he is also charged with using a carriage service to groom a child and two counts of supplying liquor to a minor on other premises at Moss Vale.

Mr Singleton had been in custody for months following his arrest on January 25 last year but was granted bail by the Supreme Court in November, with strict conditions prohibiting him from accessing the internet or having more than one phone.

He is also forbidden from being in the company of anyone under 18 except in the company of his parent or guardian.

The 20-year-old is also subject to a strict curfew and banned from entering the Southern Highlands towns of Moss Vale or Bowral except for legal purposes.

He is only allowed one non-smartphone, which cannot be connected to the internet and must be presented to the police upon request.

The matter returns to Moss Vale Local Court in May.
