The sitting MP, Dr Mike Freelander, 66, is well-known as a Campbelltown paediatrician for more than 35 years. In his spare time, he enjoys live theatre and live music with his wife Sharon as well as spending time with his grandchildren.
Dr Freelander, a rugby union tragic, also sometimes dreams of a life where he was born Maori and could take the field with the New Zealand All Blacks.
Matt Stellino — Animal Justice Party
A Campbelltown native, Mr Stellino is at home jogging along the bush tracks at the back of Campbelltown and could be spotted enjoying a coffee and smoothie bowl after. A keen dirt bike rider, Mr Stellino wants to bring the Animal Justice Party to a place where they can effect change for animals such as reducing society’s dependence on farm animals.

A 38-year-old family man from Ingleburn, Mr Murphy is a surfing bricklayer who was inspired to stand as a candidate after Clive Palmer’s TV advertising “hit a nerve” with him.
A self-described “doer”, Mr Murphy has promised to establish a wave pool area and would prioritise shoring up the country’s national defence.
Jayden Rivera — The Greens
Fast food restaurant manager Jayden Rivera, 24, is a Canberra Raiders tragic who travels south most weekends to watch his rugby league team. A sports lover, who plays tennis and soccer regularly, Mr Rivera wants to stop development on the region’s wildlife corridors and is a big believer of universal health care and providing affordable housing for all.
