Bolton Clarke development manager Steven Carter said the design of the contemporary two-storey facility was inspired by customer feedback, and would feature the latest in technology and environmental initiatives.

“Our Willowdale development at Denham Court is designed to meet the increasing demand for seniors housing in the growing Sydney region,” he said.

“The new 144-room development will bring together consumer-led design principles, environmentally sustainable design initiatives and contemporary technology solutions to deliver excellence in accommodation, wellbeing, lifestyle, care and support services.”

“We are excited to work with the adjacent Stockland Willowdale Retirement community to provide a residential aged care option to support residents as their needs change.”

The facility is proposed for the corner of Jamboree Av and Denham Court Rd, Denham Court.

Mr Carter said the facility would benefit the wider community, not just its future residents.

“It will also offer an opportunity for local residents with a passion for aged care to be part of Australia’s most experienced not-for-profit provider of independent living services for older people,” he said.

About 50 staff are expected to work at the facility at any one time.

The proposed development is on exhibition with Campbelltown Council until May 9. To view the plans, visit www.campbelltown.nsw.gov.au.
