CONSTRUCTION is set to begin on the new Gregory Hills Town Centre.
Located on the corner of Gregory Hills Drive and Village Circuit, the recently approved development will bring over 7500sqm2 of retail space.
A Woolworths supermarket, BWS store, medical centre and over 20 specialty stores will be built as part of the town centre.
The centre will also have 450 car park spaces.
The specialty retail mix planned for the centre includes food and service based retailers.
The development, which is being managed by Dart West Developments, will see construction begin this month with an anticipated opening date near Easter next year.
“Gregory Hills Town Centre will provide a convenient shopping destination, anchored by a full line modern Woolworths supermarket, that is close to home for Gregory Hills residents,” Dart West Retail general manager Brad Page said.
“Supporting Woolworths will be a range of services and shops for the community.”
Woolworths regional property manager Colin Graham said the company was pleased to secure one of the key retail tenancies in the development and look forward to delivering an essential and convenient shopping experience for local residents.
“At Woolworths, we pride ourselves on delivering high quality produce at great value for local
residents. We are delighted to be part of the Gregory Hills Town Centre and are excited that local residents will soon have access to one of Australia’s most modern supermarkets,” he said.
