The dedicated and passionate staff of Campbelltown Drug Health Services have a new home, the first piece of the puzzle of Campbelltown Hospital’s major redevelopment.

Campbelltown’s hospital of the future is fast becoming reality, with the first service moving into a new custom-built home.
Campbelltown Drug Health Services, which supports people with drug and alcohol problems, have relocated to a state-of-the-art premises complete with extra consultation and treatment rooms.
The team of dedicated and passionate staff will be supported by groundbreaking idose technology which recognises clients by taking a digital photo of their iris, before dispensing the medication required.
Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals general manager Alison Derrett said the new location combined drug health with the hospital campus like never before.
“This is an exciting time for our community and I am delighted the team from Drug Health now is providing care in this custom-built, state-of-the-art centre,” she said.
South Western Sydney Local Health District Drug Health Services general manager Stephanie Hocking said the new home would enhance client care.
“Our staff are thrilled with the new premises and we look forward to continuing to provide outstanding care and support for our clients and community well into the future,’’ she said. “Our team do a fantastic job for their clients and the new centre will enhance our holistic and innovative care.’’
Drug Health is the first service to move to a new centre as part of the hospital’s major redevelopment, which also includes a new multistorey car park.
