Two children who were rushed to hospital after they were found unconscious inside a southwest Sydney home are in a stable condition.

About 1.30pm on Wednesday, emergency services were called to a house on Faithful Pl, Airds, after concerns were raised for the welfare of two children.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said a Toll Helicopter, road crews and a specialist medical team were dispatched after initial reports a young girl and boy had taken too many tablets.
