Accused ‘street-level’ drug dealers arrested in Camden

Two Wentworthville men have been arrested and charged after allegedly supplying cocaine in Camden’s Larkin Place carpark on Saturday night.

Two alleged drug dealers are before the courts after Camden police officers arrested the duo lurking in Camden’s Larkin Place car park on Saturday night.

The two men from Wentworthville, about an hour’s drive from Camden, were identified by police officers acting suspiciously in the known area for drug supply about 9pm on Saturday.

The duo, aged 21 and 24, allegedly moved away from police patrolling the area which sparked police interest in the pair.

The officers spoke to the men, standing in front of a Toyota LandCruiser, and became more suspicious about their actions.

Police searched the 4WD and found a number of resealable bags allegedly containing cocaine.

Cash was also found during the search.

The two men were arrested and charged with drug supply.

They have received bail to appear at Picton Local Court on June 25.
