Thirty of St Leo’s Catholic College’s best and most dedicated soccer players are set to make history as part of the school’s inaugural United Kingdom soccer tour.
The students will be joined by four staff for the tour which will see the group tour and train with English FA coaches at esteemed football grounds such as Old Trafford and Anfield, attend a number of games and play against several local schools.
In order to be selected to take part in the tour, students had to demonstrate their dedication to the sport.
The opportunity to train at some of the largest clubs in the UK and with some of the best coaches in the world is an opportunity for the students to develop as athletes — an opportunity they will remember forever.
Tour organisers Michael Kember and Jessica Watts said it will be an experience the entire team will cherish.
