Ryde Secondary College has played a starring role in helping Sydney North to victory at the NSW Combined High Schools Boys Volleyball State Championships.

Four RSC students made up the representative side, which includes all the public high schools from the inner-western suburbs of Sydney to the Central Coast.

Sydney North were undefeated through the nine games of the three day tournament, claiming the state title with a victory over Sydney West in the finals.

The team’s coach Daniel Han said he was still buzzing from the team’s hard-fought victory.

“It came right down to the wire in the final. The scores were one all with one game to play and we came from behind to win by two points.”
