A windows company is the latest COVID-19 hotspot in southwest Sydney after 11 people tested positive to the highly contagious virus.

A Prestons window company is the latest coronavirus hotspot in Sydney’s south.
Vista Windows, on Jedda Rd, has had 11 confirmed cases, a NSW Health statement said.
A total of 5 staff members test positive for COVID-19 and a 6 cases linked to staff cases.
The workplace is closed.
There have been 214 cases across the South West Sydney Health District as of 8pm on April 9 - 86 in Canterbury Bansktown local government area, 24 in Fairfield LGA, 45 caes in Liverpool LGA, Campbelltown local government area has 31 cases and Camden LGA has 36 and Wollondilly has between 1 and 4 positive cases.
Across NSW, there has been 2822 confirmed cases, according to current NSW Health figures.
There are currently 211 COVID-19 cases being treated, including 29 cases in Intensive Care Units, and 23 of these require ventilators.
NSW Health is alerting passengers who were close contacts on flights to monitor for symptoms, and contact their GP, but call ahead first, or call healthdirect on 1800 022 222, or visit a NSW Health COVID-19/Flu assessment clinic should they become unwell.
Anyone who believes they have may have contracted the COVID-19 virus (who are returned travellers, or who have come in contact with a confirmed case and are showing symptoms: fever, sore throat, dry cough and shortness of breath) should:
● Call the coronavirus hotline on 1800 020 080 and receive advice about the best course of action depending on symptoms and risks.
● Contact your GP to arrange an appointment (let GP practice know in advance if you have symptoms).
