The wife of an alleged Finks bikie gang member has faced court after she was accused of splashing nearly $2000 in counterfeit cash on a shopping spree in Sydney’s south east.

The glamorous wife of an alleged bikie gang member has pleaded not guilty to using almost $2000 in counterfeit cash on a shopping spree.
Police will allege Kayla Attie, 22, knowingly parted with counterfeit notes as she shopped at Westfield Eastgardens on August 1.
The mother-of-one, who is married to alleged Finks bikie gang member Sarmad Mekhail, allegedly spent hundreds of dollars in less than two hours.
Ms Attie is alleged to have spent $247.60 at clothing store Supre before visiting a hair salon, where she handed over $300.

She then allegedly spent $500 at EB Games and another $729.80 at Footlocker.
Police caught up with the Casula woman on October 3, charging her with five offences, including four counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception and utter counterfeit money knowing it to be counterfeit.
Ms Attie, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, today appeared before Liverpool Local Court, where Registrar David Trotter adjourned the matter to December 11 at Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court.
