Two Mongol bikies, one of whom was flaunting his colours days before fronting court, will go to trial after allegedly bashing a man for his Gucci bag and $110 cash.

Inner west chapter bikies Eddie Maiaua, 40, and Luke Owens, 30, are accused of beating Simon Diri in Five Dock so severely last year he was left with a fractured jaw.

Police allege the pair repeatedly punched Mr Diri and robbed him of his designer bag, wallet, cash, bank cards, his drivers licence and Medicare card just before 9pm on December 21 outside his East St apartment.
