Alex Shooter Williamson: Peach PRC seeks AVO through NSW Police

A high profile comedian who was the subject of allegations made publicly by his TikTok popstar ex has now been taken to court by NSW Police in efforts to protect her.

A high-profile comedian accused of unpleasant behaviour towards his TikTok popstar ex-girlfriend has been slapped with an interim apprehended violence order for her protection.

Comedian Alex “Shooter” Williamson, 33, was dropped by his management and booted off both Sydney and Perth Comedy Festival line-ups in May after his ex-partner – TikTok star and rising popstar Peach PRC – accused him of misconduct during their relationship.

Williamson has denied the allegations.

Months later, NSW Police have now filed an apprehended violence order on Peach PRC’s behalf to protect her from Williamson which prevents him from contacting her at all.

The application was heard for the first time before Magistrate Jennifer Atkinson at Newtown Local Court on December 20, where Williamson appeared via email due to the fact he resides in South Australia.

“There is a message here that he is seeking to oppose the matter,” Ms Atkinson said.

“He’s opposing the AVO being made.”

Police will be required to provide their evidence by January 17 next year with defence submissions and directions due on February 14.

The matter will return to Newtown Local Court on February 21 next year.

Despite Williamson’s opposition to the order, he will be subject to conditions under an interim order until the matter is finalised.

In addition to standard conditions preventing Williamson from assaulting, threatening, stalking, harassing or intimidating Peach PRC, or destroying her property, Williamson is now barred from contacting or approaching Peach PRC in any way except through a lawyer.

In a public statement made on Twitter and Instagram this year, Peach PRC said she would “not be able to sleep at night” if she did not address her past relationship with the comedian publicly.

Williamson has strenuously denied all allegations of misconduct against Peach PRC.

He has never been charged with a criminal offence in relation to Peach PRC and the Inner West Courier does not suggest otherwise.

The Courier has contacted Williamson for comment, while a representative for Peach PRC said they would not issue any further comment.

“He is abusive, manipulative and predatory and has done absolutely vile things,” Peach PRC wrote earlier this year on social media.

“I am so tired of being silenced … how many times do we have to be shown his derogatory behaviour to women?

“He is literally TELLING you what he’s doing and disguising it as ‘dark humour’ … he needs to be de-platformed at the very LEAST.”

In a series of highly explicit videos posted in response to his Instagram at the time – which then had 500,000 followers but was subsequently deactivated by Instagram – Williamson said “I don’t know what the abuse is”.

“I don’t know what the predatory behaviour is they’re talking about,” Williamson said in the videos.

“I’m confused as to where the predatory thing is coming from. What even is the accusation? … If it’s the predatory thing, it’s false.”

The pair dated when Peach PRC was 19 and Williamson was 29.

Peach PRC is now a successful music artist, with hit singles including Josh, Symptomatic and Heavy in addition to 1.6 million TikTok followers.

Days later after he was dropped by his management, Sydney Comedy Festival and Perth Comedy Festival, Williamson retracted some of the language he used in response to Peach PRC’s allegations.

“I’m doing f*kn great, I’ll decide when I’m ready to be cancelled,” Williamson posted on Instagram.

“I will say this tho (sic), I deeply regret the manner in which I mindlessly dismissed these recent allegations … I do apologise for my display, which was a slap in the face to those survivors of sexual and physical abuse xoxoxo love all of you.”
