Staff from ResMed and Woolworths laced up their boots for a charity touch footy day on Friday.

The match was held at Bella Vista as a fundraiser for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, with the hope of raising about $3000.

The ResMed team started well, racing away to a 2-nil lead before Woolworths scored a couple of late tries to tie the game up.

ResMed took the lead again and looked to have the game in control but a few crucial errors in the last five minutes led to two late tries to Woolworths, who eventually won the contest 5-4.

The NSW Touch Association supplied and donated referees and footballs for the day, and spectators came to show support.

Resmed’s Tommy Yu was awarded player of the match.
