This year’s Orange Blossom Festival will tee off with the introduction of a special baseball league.
The Kellyville Kolts Baseball Club will officially begin its Orange Blossom League spring training program this weekend.
While the club has for many years called the first month of tee ball training the ‘Orange Blossom League’, this year will mark the first official affiliation with the festival.
The players will also march in the Orange Blossom Festival parade.
The OBL will run from September 3-24 for ages four to eight of all skill levels.
This year will also mark two other milestones for the club – its 30th anniversary, and the introduction of a first grade women’s team, the Fillies, in the NSW Women’s Baseball League.
