School opens new building in North Kellyville, eyes K-12 campus

A school in North Kellyville has opened a new building featuring science labs and classrooms as it caters for a growing population across the region.

A school in North Kellyville has opened a new building featuring science labs and classrooms to cater for a growing population across the region.

Hills Adventist College has grand plans to turn its North Kellyville campus into a K-12 school by 2022, located on Gum Nut Cl.

Hills Adventist College also has a campus in Castle Hill.

Kindergarten and Year 1 classes were added during 2018 and 2019 to the campus on Gum Nut Cl which previously only offered classes in Years 5-12.

Remaining year groups will be added by 2022 to make it a thriving K-12 campus.

The campus is also undergoing redevelopments to cater for an influx in students. A new middle school building recently opened for students in Years 7 and 8.

“The middle school building contains two additional science laboratories, four general classrooms, bathrooms and change rooms for middle school students and administrative offices for teachers,” a school spokeswoman said.

The building will also be expanded in future for students in Years 5 and 6. A junior school building is also earmarked for the campus.
