More than 100 new homes have been proposed as part of two separate developments in the burgeoning suburb of Norwest.
Developer City Projects submitted a proposal to create 45 townhouses and shop top housing at 73 to 75 Windsor Rd to The Hills Shire Council in December.
The $12.5 million project proposes each home will include three bedrooms, while the new community will see the development of several internal roads and an outdoor communal space.
The Windsor Rd development application comes as developers Summerside earmarked the construction of 60 new homes in a development application for 131-171 Fairway Dr, Norwest on December 13.
“The proposal seeks to subdivide the subject site into 60 residential lots, providing lot sizes ranging from 240sq m to 458sq m,” the development application said.
“The proposed works seek to deliver a range of housing choice and diversity through a range of 3 and 4 bedroom detached dwellings.”
The proposal argued the construction of the Sydney Metro northwest would generate significant demand for housing within immediate areas surrounding each station.
