A new, multimillion-dollar restaurant, craft distillery, cafe and boutique bar will open as part of hotel juggernaut Momento Hospitality’s latest dining precinct in The Hills.
Mullane’s Hotel, which will launch the new luxury hotel from September, will include an 120-seat artisan modern-Italian restaurant and bar — dubbed Sarino’s — as well as The Public Bar and Craft Distillery at 24 Brookhollow Ave, Norwest.
Marcello Colosimo, Momento Hospitality chief executive said the venue is “set to be the epicentre for quality dining in The Hills”.
“We are bringing our Italian heritage and dedication to The Hills community,” he said.
“In fact, the name ‘Sarino’ is a tribute to my father — it was his nickname growing up in Calabria.”
Sarino’s will be at the centre of the new development, “featuring sophisticated Italian fare and local produce”, according to Mr Colosimo.
“A luxe private function areas sit on level two of the development, an ideal exclusive setting for corporate events from the buzzing Norwest Business Park and social functions alike,” he said.
“The ground floor cafe will feature Italian coffee and small bites prepared by Sarino’s kitchen, as well as a public dining bar and VIP lounge.”
Over 200 wines and Italian cocktails will be on offer, as well as private liquor cabinets for “top shelf bottles”.
Mullane’s Hotel will also offer an on-site craft distillery, which will produce almond liqueur — known famously for use on affogatos and lemoncello.
An international team of chefs have been appointed to run the kitchens behind the new hotel, with Sarino’s to be run by executive head chef, Joe Cavallo, alongside Momento Hospitality group executive chef, Sam Young.
Mullane’s Hotel is set to open in September and Sarino’s Restaurant and Bar in October.
