Five police incidents from the past week across The Hills and northwest Sydney.

Baulkham Hills

A 26-year-old Guildford man has been charged with supplying a prohibited drug after police found 10 zip-lock bags containing a white powder, alleged to be cocaine, in his vehicle.

Police stopped him because of his driving manner while travelling along Windsor Rd in a Holden ute on Friday about midnight.

He passed a breath test but a search of his vehicle uncovered the 10 bags of alleged drugs.

He has also been charged with drive on a suspended licence. He is due to front Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday, August 7.

Castle Hill

Snowboarding equipment including a snowboard, boots, gloves and goggles were stolen from a storage cage at a property on Old Northern Rd between 10.30am and 5.30pm on Saturday. A wakeboard was also stolen. The goods were worth $2800.

Rouse Hill

Police are still searching for a man who robbed a Thai restaurant at Rouse Hill armed with a large knife last month.

The man entered the rear entrance of Red Galangal, on Panmure St, about 9.30pm on Monday, June 24 and allegedly stated he needed money before forcing entry to a cash register.

He stole a small sum of cash and was holding a knife with a 30cm blade.

He fled on an unregistered red, white and black dirt bike, which was captured on CCTV.

No staff were injured and no customers were inside the restaurant at the time of the incident.

Police released CCTV images of the man last week in an attempt to find him.

As at Monday morning, police were still looking for the man who has been described as caucasian, about 180cm tall, medium build with reddish/brown hair and facial hair.

The man was wearing a large fluorescent yellow jacket, black pants, white Nike sneakers, a blue and red backpack and a black, yellow and grey Fox motorcycle helmet.

Dural

A 19-year-old Castle Hill man and 18-year-old Kenthurst man were given cannabis cautions after police approached a car they were sitting inside, parked on Pellitt Lane about 10pm last Wednesday.

Police noticed a strong cannabis smell coming from the car and, after speaking with the pair, found two man bags inside, both containing cannabis.

The drugs were seized and the pair given cannabis cautions.

Carlingford

A 41-year-old North Avoca man was charged with mid-range drink driving after being stopped for a random breath test on Marsden Rd about 10.25am on Thursday.

He failed a roadside breath test and was taken to Ryde police station where he returned a breath analysis of 0.090. He will front Burwood Local Court at a date yet to be determined.
