Construction is almost complete on the $180 million expansion of Castle Towers, which is set to bring dozens of new stores to Castle Hill.
The retail centre has revealed exclusively with the Hills Shire Times that shoppers will be able to experience the new precinct for the first time when it opens to the public on December 5.
Castle Towers centre manager, Eddie Paynter said the centre’s 50,000 daily customers will be able to enjoy an underground pedestrian tunnel that will link the shopping centre to the Castle Hill metro station which will “make it easier for shoppers to access the centre”.
“The new lifestyle hub will offer a best in class selection of brands for our loyal and trusting customers across food and dining, homewares, tech and services, with an improved offering of everyday retail.”
A total of 45 new stores will open on December 5, while an additional eight outlets — including international sensation Starbucks — will open early next year.
The announcement of the official opening of the multimillion-dollar retail spaces comes as Castle Towers announces its full line up of stores opening from December 5.
Homewares and plant store Grow Urban Oasis is set to be introduced to The Hills in the new retail spaces, while Flower Train will launch its second Sydney Store when it launches more than 45 varieties of flowers.
New concept store, What’s Cooking Home will offer kitchenware, furniture, candles and homewares is set to open its doors in the new retail space, while homewares retailer Wheel & Barrow is due to join Castle Towers in March next year.
Castle Towers will also see an expanded beauty offering alongside it’s recently opened MECCA store, with new retailers including the Aveda hair salon Tribe Lifestyle and Indulge Nails and Spa joining Allan’s Mens Hairdressing and Rainbow Organic to help style and pamper shoppers.
Mr Paynter said major retail chains including Chemist Warehouse, JB Hi-Fi, Sony and The Reject Shop will expand in size when they relocate to the new precinct, alongside new addition Price Attack.
Sneaker store, Hype DC will also open on Level two on December 6.
