Teen in court charged over death of scooter rider in Five Dock
A teenager is facing multiple charges over his alleged involvement in the death of a 41-year-old man in Five Dock.

A Kellyville teenager charged over the death of a 41-year-old scooter rider in Five Dock has briefly faced court again today.
Matthew Giusa, 19, was charged with dangerous and negligent driving occasioning death after he allegedly struck Chim Kim Pei while the 41-year-old was riding his motorised scooter on William St, Five Dock around 8.45pm on September 24.
Court documents revealed Mr Giusa was driving a Toyota HiLux near the intersection at Spencer St when the incident occurred.
The young man, who was dressed in a dark blue suit and standing before Magistrate Stapleton during proceedings on Wednesday morning, is under strict bail conditions including nightly curfews and weekly reporting to Castle Hill Police.
Officers arrested the Kellyville teenager at the scene while bystanders told police they worked to try and save the man’s life.
Giusa’s case will reappear before Burwood Local Court on January 15.
