A Dubbo man has pleaded guilty to multiple drug supply charges in court after police revealed they had been secretly watching him sell drugs to hundreds of customers over a two-week period.

Between April and July 2020, police said they conducted surveillance on a home Fieldsend was living at on Davidson Drive in East Dubbo.

According to police, 326 cars or people on foot entered the home during a two-week period.

Police said 71 people spent less than a minute in Fieldsend’s house, 94 were there for two to four minutes, 51 spent five to 10 minutes in the home and only 36 were there for more than 10 minutes.

Of the 111 vehicles that pulled up at the house, police said 109 were linked to illegal drug activity.

Facebook’s messenger service and SMS were the preferred methods of communication Fieldsend used to facilitate the drug deals.

Bank records gave police more proof Fieldsend was a dealer.

Almost a year after he was charged, Fieldsend confessed to selling 42.5 grams of methylamphetamine and 67.4 grams of cannabis.

Initially he said he was only a user and never sold the drug.

Currently remanded in Bathurst jail, Fieldsend appeared briefly in Dubbo Local Court to enter his guilty pleas.

His case has now been transferred to the District Court where a sentencing date will be set on June 3.
