A new multimillion-dollar unit complex slated for a major street in Wellington is before Dubbo Regional Council. Here’s the plan.

A multimillion-dollar unit complex earmarked for the Wellington township has been submitted to Dubbo Regional Council.

The $3 million development proposal will see 28 units developed at 144 Warne St, Wellington with each including three bedrooms and one ensuite.

The units will also contain an open entry living and kitchen area, a covered porch, private open space which is directly accessible from the living room, an alfresco area, and one car space.

“The design of all dwellings is based on energy efficiency principles with windows to living areas,” the developer said.

“The simple design of the proposed new houses provides adequate solar and wind access to all dwellings.

“The ceiling height in all dwellings increases the overall look of the rooms giving the house openness from inside and making it look more spacious. “

The proposed development will ensure the front facade of each unit to have a “simple and co-ordinated” design, to ensure consistency throughout the complex.

The developer said the windows in each property are designed to “allow enough sunlight to pass through” for most of the day.

If approved, the construction of the unit complex will be carried out between 7am and 6pm during weekdays and 8am to 4pm on Saturdays, to align with noise requirements.

The proposal is on exhibition until November 12.
