Sam Burgess and new wife Phoebe Hooke have just bought a house in Sydney’s southeast
SAM Burgess and new wife Phoebe Hooke have bought themselves a house in Sydney’s south east just weeks after moving into their Bondi beachpad.
Rabbitohs prodigal son Sam Burgess and new wife Phoebe Hooke have splashed out on a home in Sydney’s south east, only weeks after moving into their luxe Bondi apartment.
The couple are said to be swapping out the hustle and bustle of Bondi Beach for the suburban calm of Maroubra, not far from fellow sports star cricketer David Warner’s new Lurline Bay knockdown.
The ocean-view home was listed with Belle Property Randwick’s Shane Vincent who could not confirm the sale price of the property.
Burgess bought the multimillion-dollar Bondi beachfront pad in The Pacific development off-the-plan in 2012 for $2.1 million.
The development has finally reached completion but since moving in, the couple have decided Bondi isn’t quite right for them.
Burgess recently returned to Sydney after a stint playing Rugby Union for England.
The pair was married in the Southern Highlands in December last year. They exchanged vows in front of a star studded crowd of 150, which included Russell Crowe.
They are expected to list their Bondi apartment soon.
