Wentworth Park, Glebe: two men charged with the assault of a 38-year old during a game of Oztag
Two men have been charged and a man has been left with a broken jaw after an alleged assault at a local Oztag game.

Two men have been charged with assault after allegedly kicking and punching a 38-year-old multiple times at an Oztag game in Sydney's inner west.
Police were called to a scene at Wentworth Park Oval, Glebe, following reports a game of Oztag had turned to chaos when two men on the opposing team began assaulting the 38-year old.
The two men 23, 25, left the scene before police arrived.
Paramedics treated the man on the scene for facial wounds – which would later be revealed as a broken jaw – before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
Following inquires, police executed a search warrant at a home on Bay Street, Glebe on May 29, and arrested the 25-year-old.
Shortly after, a second search warrant was executed at a home on Gibbons Street, Redfern where the 23-year-old man was arrested.
The older man was taken to Newtown Police Station and charged with reckless grievous bodily harm – in company and affray, while the younger man was taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with reckless grievous bodily harm – in company, affray and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.
The two men are due to appear in the Downing Centre Local Court.
