A man who allegedly fled after stabbing a young dad during a fight at Hamlyn Terrace has been charged with the aggravated robbery of another man at Buff Point.

Tyler Edwin King, of Budgewoi, was not required to appear via video link at Wyong Local Court on Tuesday where he was facing one count of aggravated robbery and intentionally inflicting actual bodily harm.

The Crown Prosecutor’s office had lodged a detention application for Mr King, however it was withdrawn when the court heard the 25-year-old was already remanded in custody on an unrelated charge of murder.

Charge sheets tendered in court state Mr King allegedly robbed a man of a Stussy brand satchel about 3.20am on January 21, 2022, at Buff Point “and at the time did intentionally inflict actual bodily harm”.

The charge sheets state the satchel contained a black wallet with a drivers licence and $4500 cash.

Mr King was not required to enter a plea and the matter was adjourned to October 18 when he is due to reappear in the same court charged over the murder of 33-year-old Jesse Tattersall.
