Two women turned up at one of their ex-boyfriend’s house in the middle of the night to confront him before one damaged his new partner’s car and the other kicked him in the testicles and assaulted police, a court has heard.

Jemma Laing, of Norah Head, and Danielle Dent, of Toukley, faced Wyong Local Court on Tuesday where they pleaded guilty to entering with intent to commit an offence, intimidation and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company.

Laing also pleaded guilty to damaging property while Dent pleaded guilty to a further two counts of assaulting police.

An agreed set of facts in both matters states Laing and Dent were drinking at Wyong Leagues Club on March 28 last year when they decided to confront Laing’s ex-boyfriend about an alleged infidelity.

There is no suggestion Laing’s ex-boyfriend was unfaithful to her.

The pair, both now aged 24, left the club at 1pm and turned up at his Gorokan address where Laing saw his new girlfriend’s car parked in the driveway.

Laing approached the car and bent the sides of the rear number plate before tearing the rear wiper arm from the window, waking her ex-boyfriend and his new partner.

Laing and Dent went to the front door but Laing’s ex closed it before they ran to a sliding-glass door at the side of the house.

Laing’s ex ran through the house and cut them off before blockading the door to stop them from trying to force their way in, throwing a scooter and kicking a skateboard at them.

Laing kicked him through the open door before they forced their way inside, ripping some blinds down in the process.

“Dent punched (him) and kicked him to his testicles,” the facts state.

They went to his bedroom door where his new partner was cowering inside having called triple triple-0.

Laing’s ex again barricaded the door where Dent punched him in the back of the head and kicked him while Laing grabbed him by the throat and pulled his hair.

Police arrived and found Dent and Laing in the hallway.

One officer escorted Laing outside with her yelling “get your hands off me … f--k off, get your hands off me”.

Dent started arguing with police, saying “I’ve literally done nothing” as officers escorted her to the back of a police truck.

“I’m not getting in there, I’m not going back to a police station, I’m not doing this shit,” Dent yelled at officers.

After 25 minutes Dent was eventually bundled into the caged vehicle but not before biting one officer on the wrist leaving a bite mark.

She was taken to Wyong Police Station where she took off a shoe and threw it at another officer and punched a third officer in the arm and kicked him in the knee.

She declined to participate in an interview.

Laing did participate in a recorded interview and admitted to damaging the car but denied unlawfully entering the house or assaulting him.

She told police she saw the new girlfriend’s car and “it set me off” so she bent the number plate.

Laing said she went to the side door and “got angry” but it was her ex-boyfriend who “threw me on the concrete”.

“My f--king tailbone is killing me,” she told police.

Both women were adjourned for sentence on July 8.
