A trail bike rider has died following a crash with a teenage boy on an e-bike on the Central Coast.

The incident was one of two fatalities across the state on Sunday, with a motorcyclist also killed in a single-vehicle crash on the South Coast.

NSW Police said emergency services were called to the crash involving the e-bike, on Budgewoi Rd at Noraville, about 1pm.

Paramedics treated the 46-year-old trail bike rider for serious injuries, but he died at the scene.

The e-bike rider – a 14-year-old boy – was treated at the scene before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.

“Police believe the 14-year-old boy was with a number of other e-bike riders who may have captured footage of the crash on their mobile phone,” police said in a statement.

“As investigations continue, detectives are urging anyone with mobile phone vision or CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”

The South Coast incident occurred about 8.45am on Bimbimbie Road at Bimbimbie, where police arrived to find a motorcycle had crashed after leaving the road.

Paramedics treated the rider – a 23-year-old man from Canberra – but he died at the scene.

Reports on both incidents will be prepared for the coroner.
