Tina Quinn: Land search underway after woman disappears in Yass River

Multiple emergency crews are scouring the Southern Tablelands outside of Canberra following the disappearance of a woman, with her family holding concerns for her welfare.

A multi-agency land search has begun to find a woman who disappeared from Yass River.

Police rescue and SES crews started the search about 9.15am on Tuesday after Tina Quinn, 34, disappeared from a Yass River Rd property.

Ms Quinn was last seen about 10.30am on Sunday and last spoke to her family about 5pm the same day by text message.

She has not been seen or heard from since, with police and family holding serious concerns for her welfare.

Ms Quinn was described as being of African appearance, about 175cm tall with a thin build, light brown hair, light brown eyes and a tattoo of three to five pointed stars on the back of her neck.

Anyone who sees Ms Quinn was urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
