Three people critical, one injured in Boorowa truck and ute crash

Three men have been flown to hospital in critical conditions and another has been injured after a tabletop truck and a ute collided north of Canberra.

Three people are fighting for and another has been injured following a horror crash between a truck and ute north of Canberra.

Emergency services rushed to Long St in Boorowa, 113km north of Canberra, about 7.50pm on Wednesday after a ute and truck collided.

Police say the ute was travelling southbound with three men when it crashed into a tabletop truck travelling eastbound near the intersection with Rye Park Rd.

Paramedics found the ute driver and his two passengers critically injured while the truck driver suffered injuries described as non-life threatening.

The ute driver was flown to Liverpool Hospital while his two passengers were flown to Canberra Hospital.

Police have been told all three men are in a critical condition.

The truck driver was taken to Canberra Hospital by road ambulance in a stable condition.

Crash Investigators were on scene while the road was closed.
