Strike Force Sulfur: Toby Broekmeulen charged with drug supply

Court documents allege a Queanbeyan man arrested last month following Strike Force Sulfur raids supplied 28 grams of cocaine. Find out what happened.

A man facing commercial drug supply charges - following his arrest by Strike Force Sulfur cops last month - has had his matter adjourned in court after being granted bail by police.

Captain’s Flat man Toby Broekmeulen, 36, is charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, two counts of being in possession of unlawfully obtained goods, two counts possessing anabolic or androgenic steroids, supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug and being an owner or occupier who knowingly allowed the residence to be used as a drug premises.

Mr Broekmeulen was arrested last month and was granted police bail, His first appearance at Queanbeyan Local Court on October 10 was adjourned, with Broekmeulen or his legal representative not required to appear in court.

According to Court documents police allege on September 13 Mr Broekmeulen was in possession of 0.9 grams of cocaine and 2.6 grams of cannabis.

Police allege he was also in possession of 36 hexagonal tablets, 2 tablets believed to be nolvadex, and 59 Clomifene tablets, all suspected of being stolen.

In regards to alleged steroid possession, police claim they found 21 green and 13 blue heart-shaped tablets believed to be Dianabol steroids, alongside three vials of testosterone and anabolic steroids.

Police also allege Mr Broekmeulen supplied a commercial quantity of cocaine to wit 28 grams and used his Queanbeyan residence as a drug premises.

Mr Broekmeulen remains on bail and will appear at Queanbeyan Local Court on November 21.
