Court documents have revealed a man charged with multiple sex offences was living at Duntroon Military Facility at the time of his arrest.
Jake Sullivan, 22, is charged with four counts of sexual intercourse without consent, an act of indecency without consent, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Mr Sullivan has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him.
Charge sheets for Mr Sullivan state he was arrested on August 26 and has been on bail since his arrest.
The documents state all charges against him relate to an alleged incident on March 11 against one female complainant.
Mr Sullivan varied his bail earlier this month to change his address, with the latest bail undertaking form stating he now lives at an address in the Brisbane suburb of Ormiston.
Under his bail conditions, Mr Sullivan cannot contact, harass or intimidate the complainant and a number of other individuals, and he cannot enter the Australian Defence Force Academy at Campbell unless he is in the company of military police.
Mr Sullivan cannot be within 50 metres of the complainant, was ordered to surrender all passports, and cannot apply for a new passport.
During his last court appearance, Mr Sullivan was granted permission to attend his next court date via telephone.
His case will next be heard in court on November 4.
In a statement responding to questions about Mr Sullivan, a Department of Defence spokesman said: “An Army Staff Cadet has appeared in court in Canberra charged with a number of sexual offences.
“The Staff Cadet has been suspended from duty.
“As this matter is before the courts we are unable comment further.”
