A new alleged victim has come forward in the case of a high-profile restaurant owner charged with sexually assaulting teens in the Southern Highlands.

In July 2022, detectives attached to The Hume Police District commenced an investigation after reports a 17-year-old boy had been sexually touched.

Officers subsequently spoke to another 17-year-old and a 19-year-old, and Sakkrit Disadee was arrested at his restaurant in September.

He was charged with one count of assault with an act of indecency and eight counts of aggravated sexual touching of another person without consent relating to three alleged victims.

Court documents stated he has now been charged with four new offences, including two counts of sexually touching another person without consent, indecent assault of a person under 16 years of age and inciting another to touch sexually.

The new offences include a charge involving a fourth alleged victim who was aged between 15 and 18 when Mr Disadee allegedly sexually touched his genitalia.

According to court documents, police allege all the offences occurred between 2018 and 2022 and also involved Mr Disadee allegedly trying to kiss one teen and thrusting his groin against an alleged victim’s clothed buttocks.

The matter was mentioned at Moss Vale Local Court on Monday, and a representative for the Director of Public Prosecutions said it would be adjourned until May for committal.

Documents previously submitted to the court stated Mr Disadee had lived in Australia for 20 years and had no prior criminal charges.

“[He] has strong community ties to this area,” the papers stated.

“The prosecution case appears to be strong in that multiple victims have come forward with the potential of more in the future.”

Mr Disadee remains on bail, and no pleas have been entered.
