Top cricketers heading to the BBL will limber up and preview their early season form in a series of matches this week.

The performances will help write their teams form guide for the upcoming BBL which starts December 10.

Sydney Thunder paceman Chris Tremain will play for ACT/NSW Country against NSW Metro in the second XI white ball matches at Phillip Oval, Canberra, from Tuesday to Thursday.

The series will be vital match play for former Australian One Day bowler Tremain and his BBL cohorts who include Sydney Sixers former test spinner Steve O’Keefe and T20 star and Sixers recruit Dan Christian, both who have been playiung prmeier cricket in recent weeks.

The teams will play Twenty20 and One Day matches over three days at Phillip Oval with the ACT/NSW Country team captained by Christian, who has been getting his eye in via Premier Cricket since his return from playing in the UK.

His teammates in ACT/NSW Country include Thunder spinner Jono Cook and all-rounder Nathan McAndrew and Sixers all-rounder Hayden Kerr.

The NSW Metro team boasts opening bowler Ben Dwarshuis, batting all-rounder Jack Edwards and spinner Ben Manenti along with Thunder spinning all-rounder Arjun Nair and fellow Premier Cricket gun Ollie Davies from Manly.
