Nutri-Grain ironman, ironwoman: dates, venues, Channel 9 TV and Next Gen series in 2020/21

Australia’s professional Ironwoman and Ironman series will return to live free-to-air TV for the first time since 2013 this summer with a new series to unearth the next generation of young stars to be held before each of the six rounds.
The Next Gen series will target female and male athletes under 17 and under 19 and create a new pathway into the Nutri-Grain series for the teenagers.

A prize pool of $100,000 will be up for grabs in both the women’s and men’s competitions, with two weekends of racing in NSW in Kingscliff and North Cronulla.

Surf Life Saving Australia has contingency plans in case border restrictions are still in place when the series is due to kick off just before Christmas.
The 2020/21 Nutri-Grain series will be raced over three weekends with a round held on both Saturday and Sunday.
The best placed ironwomen and ironmen from the last series have automatically qualified for the upcoming event with eight spots in each field to be determined by a qualifying series in Kingscliff later this month.
