A heavily tattooed TikTok star has been given a lashing from a magistrate after she hit a police officer with her car while they arrested her boyfriend.

Sheridan Louise Brown, 26, was told to “grow up” by Magistrate Fiona Toose when she faced Blacktown Local Court on Monday, charged with assaulting police and not complying with police directions.

The court heard the single mother was “extremely agitated” when she arrived at her then-partner, Denis Boyd’s, Blacktown house during a police raid on November 27 last year.

Police documents showed Brown arrived in the driveway of the Bungarribee Rd home in a black Range Rover when she immediately started yelling at police.

When a constable approached her to calm her down while holding a camera, she yelled, “Get that camera out of my face you f***ing dog”.

Tensions grew when she yelled at the same constable, “Get out of my face now or I’ll smash you in the face”.

When a detective sergeant approached her and asked for her licence, she got back in the car and reversed out of the driveway. The constable then stepped in front of her vehicle and motioned for her to stop.

Driving forward, Brown — who has nearly 10,000 followers on TikTok — hit the officer in the leg with her car and drove off. The constable was not injured.

She was arrested about a week later when police stopped her car in Doonside.

When asked by police why she hit the constable with her car, she replied:

“I did not mean that by any means.

“I did tell them to get out of my way.

“I have me and my baby, that’s all I have.

“I was scared so I left.”

The court heard Brown’s ex-partner was currently in jail and she had since ended the relationship and moved with her young son to live with her father in the Illawarra.

Speaking at her sentencing on Monday, her defence solicitor told the court her behaviour was more “reckless” than intentional despite having a prior conviction for assaulting police.

“Her language was deplorable,” he said.

“She clearly did attempt to stop the vehicle. It was not her intention to come into any contact.

“It was more reckless than intentional type of behaviour.”

However, Magistrate Toose said her history of assaulting police was “appalling”.

“You have a history of offences involving the police,” Magistrate Toose said.

“You clearly think it is OK to mouth off at them or assault them.

“I’m sure you wouldn’t want to be called the things you called those police.

“You’ve turned up, not at your place, they’re arresting your former partner and you decide to get involved in that.

“I think you need to grow up. I think you need to focus on your child and I think you need to take guidance from your father.

“It is appalling to treat police in this fashion.”

She was fined $2000 and placed on a Community Corrections Order for 12 months.
