Four years have come around quickly with just a few days left until NSW residents hit the polling booths to elect a fresh batch of local councillors.
The NSW Local Government elections are on Saturday, September 14, with around 125 councils up for election and an estimated 1240 councillors to be voted in.
The lead up to voting day has not been without controversy with a noticeable lack of Liberal candidates in some areas following the Liberal Party administration blunder.
However, this has given a boost to many that considered themselves underdogs.
