A police officer has been charged with assault after an alleged incident at a hospital in 2023.
The 39-year-old male senior constable, from the North West Metropolitan region, was charged with one count of common assault on Tuesday, July 30, following investigations into an alleged incident at a hospital on November 9, 2023.
The officer is alleged to have been involved in an assault while he was on duty.
His employment status is currently under review, and he will face the Downing Centre Local Court on September 10, 2024.
