Men wearing balaclavas storm, rob Bidwill home

Three men wearing balaclavas and armed with an axe, bat and knife forced their way into a home in Bidwill last night, threatening residents and fleeing with stolen items.

Men wearing balaclavas stormed a Bidwill house on Sunday night, threatening a woman and teenager with weapons and stealing several items.

The group of three men are still on the run following the incident on Wiggles Way about 11.15pm.

Police were told a woman, 52, and her son, 14, were at the home when the group forced their way inside. It is believed they were armed with an axe, bat and knife respectively.

They threatened the woman and boy and stole several personal items before fleeing the scene on foot.

No one was injured.

The group was last seen running down Wiggles Way. All three were wearing dark clothes and balaclavas.

Mt Druitt police are investigating the incident.
