Marayong: Search for woman for after house fire
A woman has vanished after a house caught fire in Sydney’s west overnight, sparking a police search party and public appeals to help find her.

Police are searching for a woman who disappeared after her house caught fire in Sydney’s west overnight.
Emergency services were called to Percy St, Marayong about 10.30pm on Wednesday night to reports a house was on fire.
The blaze was extinguished quickly and left the house with minor damage.
Firefighters have told police the fire is not suspicious.
Riverstone police were told two people were not home at the time of the blaze. However, a 38-year-old woman was unaccounted for.
Firefighters searched the home, while police searched the surrounding area with the help of PolAir, but the woman was not found.
The woman, who was last seen at the Percy Street home two or three days ago, is described as Caucasian, 167cm tall, 85kgs, large build, fair complexion and black hair. It is not known what she was wearing and she may be distressed or confused.
Anyone who has seen the woman is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Scene of Crime Officers and specialist fire investigators are expected to examine the scene later on Thursday.
