Police are hunting a gunman after a woman was shot in the arm in Blacktown on Sunday night.
A 21-year-old woman remains in hospital after police were called to reports of a shooting at a home on Flushcombe Rd, just before 7.30pm on July 19.
The woman was reportedly shot in the upper right arm.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene before she was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Blacktown police have set up a crime scene and are searching the area for the shooter.
Flushcombe Rd remains blocked to traffic and diversions are in place between Julie St and Valentine St.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to call Blacktown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
