Drug labs dismantled at Marsden Park, Werrington and Penrith properties
Two men have been charged with large-scale drug supply following sweeping raids in western Sydney, during which elite police allegedly uncovered more than 150L of meth.

Clandestine drug labs allegedly containing more than 150L of meth have been dismantled by elite Raptor Squad police following sweeping raids across western Sydney.
Strike force investigators executed search warrants at a home in Penrith and at a warehouse in Marsden Park, about 6pm on Wednesday, where police allegedly uncovered a large amount of chemical precursors./
Police also allegedly seized drug paraphernalia allegedly consistent with the manufacture of illicit drugs, and more than 150L of a liquid substance believed to be methylamphetamine.
A search warrant was also undertaken at a property at Hume Cres, Werrington, where police allegedly located a large amount of equipment consistent with the manufacture of prohibited drugs.
Police allegedly located 500g of crystallised meth and a large amount of liquid believed to be meth oil.
Drug and Firearms Squad’s Chemical Operations Unit officers attended all three locations to process and dismantle the labs, with additional items being seized for further forensic examination.
Robert John Richards, 40, was arrested at the Werrington home and taken to Penrith police station.
He was later taken to Nepean Hospital for treatment for a pre-existing injury where he remains under hospital guard. He was later charged with large-scale commercial manufacture of a prohibited drug.
Jade Forrester-Carberry, 28, was arrested at Marsden Park and was taken to Mt Druitt police station, where he was charged with taking part in the manufacture of large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.
Both men were refused bail to appear at Penrith and Mt Druitt Local Courts respectively on Thursday, where both men were formally refused bail.
Forrester-Carberry is expected to reappear at Mt Druitt Local Court on April 26, with Richards before Penrith Local Court on April 27.
The raid comes after a months-long investigation by Raptor Squad police.
In October 2022, Raptor Squad detectives Raptor Squad established Strike Force Searle to investigate the supply and manufacture of meth by members and associates of the Lone Wolf Outlaw Motorcycle Gang. Investigations are ongoing.
