A Hassall Grove woman charged with a series of offences, allegedly stemming from a 125kg cocaine importation concealed within the base of an industrial generator, has been named in court.

Anne-Margaret Tinai, 27, is charged three counts of knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime, recklessly dealing with the proceeds of crime and possessing a fraudulent drivers licence.

She has yet to enter a plea.

According to documents tendered to court, police allege Tinai dealt with a total of $146,550 in cash on three separate occasions this year at Homebush West and Hassall Grove.

Police also allege the 27-year-old was in possession of a forged drivers licence under the name of “Kristina Papadopoulas”.

Tinai’s alleged offences stem from a dramatic drug bust where NSW police, acting on a tip-off from British authorities, pulled over Daniel John Skaines, Aaron James Pearce and Corey Jones on the side of the M7 Motorway at Horsley Park.

Police allege just hours earlier the three men had knowingly collected a 125kg shipment of cocaine, worth $50 million. The drugs were allegedly concealed in the base of an industrial generator when they made their way through customs.

The trio’s dramatic arrests took place as Skaines allegedly tried to ram police vehicles with the truck he was driving.

The three men each face charges including import commercial quantity of border-controlled drug, and remain before the courts.

Following their arrests, police officers charged a further three people — including Tinai — over their alleged involvement in the importation.

This trio were arrested after police executed three search warrants in Bidwill, Hassall Grove and Bonnyrigg Heights on October 12.

During their searches, police seized a Smith and Wesson revolver, more than $220,000 in cash, 250 grams of methylamphetamine, and an Audi.

The 27-year-old Bonnyrigg man has been charged with supplying a prohibited drug, possessing a prohibited weapon without permit and dealing with proceeds of crime.

A 25-year-old Bidwill man has been charged with four counts of knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime, two counts of supplying a prohibited drug, possessing an unregistered pistol, possessing an unauthorised pistol, possessing ammunition without holding a licence and not keeping a firearm safely.

Both men were refused bail.

On Wednesday, Tinai’s matter was adjourned until January. She remains on bail.
