One of the men charged over a western Sydney brawl, which preceded the stabbing of a police officer, was allegedly found with multiple knives when he was arrested.

Lalor Park resident Anau Marko Majok, 19, faced Blacktown Local Court via video link on Thursday, when he pleaded not guilty to stalking or intimidation, having custody of a knife in a public place, being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, and affray.

Police allege Majok was involved in a brawl in Doonside in the early hours of November 22, when four men are said to have fled from officers in a car that ultimately crashed into a pole.

During a subsequent foot chase, 20-year-old Musa Musa allegedly stabbed Constable Sasha Antic, 34, in the chest.

Musa has since been charged with five offences, including wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and remanded in custody.

Majok, who is not accused of stabbing the officer, is one of two other men arrested and charged in connection over their alleged involvement in the earlier brawl.

Documents tendered to the court state Majok was allegedly armed with a machete, a knife and a “zombie knife” when police arrested him on Parkwood St, in Plumpton, following a foot pursuit.

He is also alleged to have used violence and stalked or intimidated seven people on the night in question.

Majok has not applied for bail and is set to remain on remand until his case returns to court on January 23.
