Emad Ahmed charged over police pursuit in Sydney’s west
A third man has been charged and has fronted court over his alleged involvement in a brawl in western Sydney, which resulted in a police pursuit and a police officer left with a knife in the chest.

A third man has been charged and has fronted court over his alleged involvement in a brawl in western Sydney, which resulted in a police pursuit and a police officer left with a knife in the chest.
21-year-old Emad Ahmed faced Parramatta Local Court on Saturday and has been charged with affray, custody of a knife in a public place, armed with intent to commit indictable offence, and an intimidation.
Police will allege the Blacktown resident was involved in an incident in the western Sydney suburb of Doonside, which resulted in a police chase and an officer stabbed in the chest.
At 12.30am Friday morning, officers from the North West Metropolitan Region received reports of fighting at Hill End, Doonside.
Police will allege four men fled the scene in a hatchback car, with a fifth man allegedly bolting on foot.
Officers pursued the five men, with the chase ending on Power St after the car hit a pole and the four men allegedly abandoning the car.
Ahmed was arrested on Parkwood St, Plumpton and was taken to Westmead Hospital for assessment.
On Saturday, Parramatta Local Court heard that at the time of Ahmed’s arrest, the 21-year-old was out on bail for other charges.
He was denied bail and will face the Blacktown Local Court on November 25.
Two other men allegedly involved in the incident have already been arrested and charged.
Anau Marko Majok, 18, was arrested on the same street as Ahmed and has been charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm, custody of knife in public place and armed with intent commit indictable offence and affray.
Majok did not apply for bail when he fronted Blacktown Local Court on Friday, and is set to return to the same court on December 5.
The other man charged is Musa Musa, 20, who police allege stabbed Constable Sasha Antic, 34, during the arrest.
He was arrested on Kilto Rd, Doonside has since been charged with five offences including wound police officer executing duty reckless as to actual bodily harm, wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, use offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention, custody of knife in a public place (subsequent offence) and assault police officer in execution of duty without actual bodily harm.
The Marayong resident faced the local court in Blacktown, where he did not apply for bail.
His matter has since been adjourned and Musa will face Penrith Local Court on January 17.
