43-year-old charged with high range drunk driving, speeding in schoolzone
A man from Sydney’s west was allegedly three times over the legal alcohol limit when he was caught tearing through a school zone at 82 km/h.

A man from Sydney’s west was allegedly caught by police going over 80km/h in a school zone while three times the legal alcohol limit.
The 43 year old man will face court next month charged with one count of driving with a high range PCA.
At around 8:30am on Wednesday, police observed a vehicle allegedly travelling at 82 km/h in a 40 km/h school zone at Flushcombe Road, Blacktown.
Highway command officers stopped the vehicle and conducted a roadside breath test allegedly returning a positive reading.
The man was arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was subjected to a secondary test, allegedly returning a reading of 0.163, which is well over the legal limit.
The man’s license was suspended, and he was issued an infringement notice in relation to his speed.
He will face Blacktown Local Court on July 17.
